Visit the retail booths, meet and mingle with other dachshund owners, purchase merchandise at the Sales Tent and enjoy some food!

11:00am          Registration Opens for Derby and Costume Contest

You must register your dog in advance to compete. Registration is $3/dog and under the tent at the end of Doxie Arena. Don't delay! Only 32 entries available for the costume contest.

 

11:30am          Parade Assembly

Gather at the corner of the Boathouse (on the south end of Steamboat Landing Park) to “strut with your mutt” around the perimeter of the park at noon! Look for the PAWS Mascot, Petey.

11:45am         Welcome, from PAWS Animal Adoption Center

A brief welcome from the hosting organization, PAWS Animal Adoption Center. Casey Baugher, PAWS Executive Director, will kick-off the parade!

 

12:00pm          Grand Parade of Dachshunds

The parade starts from the Boathouse and travels around the perimeter of the park.

                                   

12:30pm          1st Raffle Drawing (at Gazebo)

Tickets for sale at the Sales Tent. You must be present to win! 

 

12:45pm          Canine Costume Contest at Doxie Arena

You will need to register your dog in advance for this competition. Registration is $3/entry and begins at 11am under the tent at the end of Doxie Arena. The costume contest is limited to a maximum of 32 entries.

1:15pm          2nd Raffle Drawing at Doxie Arena

Tickets for sale at the Sales Tent. You must be present to win!

1:30pm           Doxie Derby Preliminary Heats at Doxie Arena

You will need to register your dog in advance for this competition. Registration is $3/dog and begins at 11am under the tent at the end of Doxie Arena.

 

2:15pm           Doxie Derby Championships at Doxie Arena

2:45pm          Grand Raffle Drawing at Doxie Arena
